Sir Randy Ingram-Lile is Mr. Minneapolis Eagle 2018

MINNEAPOLIS – What do a kitty, two puppies, a jock, and a Sir have in common? They were the five diverse contestants representing their version of leather as high cow season descended on the eagleBOLTbar for the Mr. Minneapolis Eagle 2018 Contest Weekend (#MME2018)!

The weekend kicked off with “Greet the Meat” where judges and contestants were introduced to the audience. The contestants drew their numbers and the weekend was underway.

People of color find solidarity at MIR meetup

CHICAGO — This past weekend, Mr. International Rubber (MIR) played host to what is likely the first formal meetup for People of Color to be part of an official event schedule and not hosted by a club.

About 25 people gathered in the third-floor lobby of the Center on Halstead, during MIR Weekend. While African-Americans did make up the largest part of the group, people from the Asian, Native American and Latinx communities were also present. Those present spoke about their experiences as people of color both as LGBTQ and kinky people.

Poland wins Mr. International Rubber 21

CHICAGO — Mr. International Rubber once again made history when Michal, Mr. Rubber Poland, won MIR 21. He is the first international fetish titleholder from beyond the former Iron Curtain.

Michal came out of a field of eight contestants to win the title. First runner-up was John Cheshire, Mr. Melbourne Rubber, and second runner-up was Pup Ranger, Mr. New England Rubber. Other contestants came from the American Midwest, Florida, Spain, the Netherlands, and San Francisco.

Chicago’s Touché celebrates 40 years

CHICAGO — Chicago’s oldest leather bar Touche is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this week. The bar kicked off the celebrations on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the bar itself. The bar had drink prices from 1977, a performance from Sharon McKnight, a buffet and birthday cake. The celebration will continue through the weekend. For more photos…
